Area Supervisor - Bangladesh

About the Role

Varaha is seeking a motivated Area Supervisor – ARR to oversee the implementation of ARR projects across Bangladesh. The candidate will supervise field operations, coordinate with implementation partners, ensure technical compliance, and maintain project quality in line with Varaha.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise ARR project implementation within assigned areas.
• Lead and monitor field officers and partner organizations.
• Ensure quality plantation, survival rate, and timely milestone achievement.
• Coordinate farmer onboarding, training, and stakeholder engagement.
• Verify field data, geo-tagging, and project documentation.
• Conduct regular site visits and submit progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with Varaha SOPs and carbon project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Agroforestry (Mandatory).
• 0 to 5 years of work experience required
• Prior experience in agroforestry, forestry, afforestation, reforestation, or related development projects are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plantation management, agroforestry systems, and farmer engagement.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital data collection tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Bangladesh.
