Role Summary

The faculty member will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality classes for Maharashtra PCS aspirants, covering the prescribed syllabus for the above subjects with a focus on conceptual clarity, exam orientation, and state-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured lectures, doubt sessions and revision classes in line with the Maharashtra PCS syllabus.
• Design and discuss quality classroom notes, handouts and reference material for the assigned subjects.
• Set and evaluate tests, practice questions and mock exams to assess student progress.
• Incorporate previous year question trends and exam patterns into classroom teaching.
• Use examples from Maharashtra and Indian context to make sessions engaging and exam relevant.
• Provide individual academic guidance and feedback to students, as required.
• Coordinate with the academic and content teams for schedule planning and material development.
• Participate in orientation sessions, workshops, seminars and promotional academic events of the institute.
• Maintain discipline in class and ensure a positive and motivating learning environment.
• Stay updated with changes in the Maharashtra PCS syllabus, exam pattern and important current affairs.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong command over the subject(s) with clear understanding of State PCS and UPSC pattern.
• Graduation or post-graduation in relevant discipline; candidates with State PCS/UPSC Mains or Interview experience will be preferred.
• Prior teaching experience in competitive exam coaching (online or offline) will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and regional language (Marathi).
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and relate them with practical and exam-oriented examples.
• Comfortable using digital tools for teaching, test creation and student engagement.
• Positive attitude, student-centric approach and strong sense of responsibility towards academic outcomes.

Work Arrangement & Compensation

Full-time visiting engagement as per institute requirement. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, academic credentials and demo performance.
