About the Role

We are seeking Bilingual Japanese Psychiatrists to contribute specialized psychiatric expertise to the evaluation and training of next-generation AI systems.

You’ll apply your clinical knowledge to complex psychiatric case studies, psychological assessments, clinical documentation, and AI-generated content. The role emphasizes Japanese psychiatric practices, cultural context, ethical decision-making, and accurate communication in both Japanese and English.

No prior AI experience is required. Your psychiatric expertise and professional judgment are the primary qualifications.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and evaluate complex psychiatric case studies reflecting real-world and culturally nuanced scenarios.

• Conduct psychological assessments and provide expert annotations informed by Japanese psychiatric practices and perspectives.

• Produce clear, precise psychiatric documentation and written analyses in both Japanese and English.

• Evaluate AI-generated content for clinical, cultural, and psychiatric accuracy.

• Apply ethical decision-making when reviewing sensitive mental health scenarios and case content.

• Contribute to bilingual communication frameworks for accurate psychiatric information exchange.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams to improve AI understanding of psychiatric concepts.

• Provide expert feedback on analytical evaluation methods used by AI systems in mental health contexts.

Required Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent).

• Completed psychiatry residency.

• Valid medical license.

• Native fluency in Japanese.

• Advanced proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Extensive experience in psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, and case documentation within Japanese clinical settings.

• Strong ability to apply cultural sensitivity and ethical reasoning to complex mental health scenarios.

• Strong analytical evaluation and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing psychiatric teaching materials or case studies for educational or research purposes.

• Experience collaborating on interdisciplinary projects involving technology, research, or digital health.

• Familiarity with both Western and Japanese psychiatric frameworks.

• Demonstrated commitment to professional integrity and ethical clinical practice.
