Job Description

Purpose

To act as a bridge between Product teams and clients, providing in-depth knowledge and support for a specific range of products.

Accountabilities

  • Provision of SME expertise on specific products and services to customers and colleagues, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks and compliance
  • Understanding of market trends, new features, regulatory requirements and potential risks, and analysis of data obtained from sales figures and, customer feedback, to support the product development process, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders to improve product offerings.
  • Response to customer inquiries and obtain a detailed understanding of complex personal / corporate financial circumstances in order to provide options for suitable product solutions. Support with resolution of issues,and provision of guidance on product usage.
  • Assistance with the development and execution of marketing materials for the product, such as pitch materials and client presentations.
  • Participation in training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Join us as Debt Structurer, B&C India, PB, where you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a bridge between the Credit team, clients, and other internal stakeholders by providing subject matter expertise on the Bank's credit products.
  • Advising clients and internal partners on credit products, including features, benefits, limitations, risks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding client requirements and structuring appropriate credit solutions in line with internal policies, risk appetite, and RBI regulations.
  • Coordinating with Risk teams for credit sanction, Operations teams for monitoring, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless end-to-end credit proposal execution.
  • Monitoring market trends, regulatory developments, and customer feedback to support product enhancement and improve credit offerings.
  • Resolving complex customer queries and providing guidance on product usage and credit solutions.
  • Sharing product knowledge and best practices through training sessions and workshops.

  • Advise and influence decision-making while collaborating with multiple business functions and stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on complex credit-related matters and support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify risks, strengthen controls, and contribute to governance and policy improvements.

Essential Skills / Basic Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a Credit Structuring role within a bank or financial institution.
  • Proven experience in evaluating client requirements, developing end-to-end credit proposals, and coordinating with Risk and Operations teams.
  • Strong understanding of RBI regulations, particularly those related to banking and credit.
  • Strong process orientation with experience working within robust governance, compliance, and control frameworks.

Desirable Skills / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in taking ownership of end-to-end credit solution structuring and delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
