ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Devices Analytical Services Engineers and supervise operators in material analysis tasks using SEM/EDX, Raman, and FTIR techniques while ensuring adherence to established protocols
- Train Devices Analytical Services operators on DAS Lab procedures, safety standards, and develop training documentation and standard operating procedures
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and sample preparation using appropriate analytical techniques to ensure optimal instrument performance
- Analyze and interpret analytical data, generate technical reports, and implement quality assurance procedures to maintain data integrity and laboratory standards
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Manage laboratory inventory, equipment logs, and consumable supplies while collaborating with cross-functional teams on laboratory-related initiatives
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Materials Science, or a related field
- 0-3 years of experience in a scientific, laboratory, or analytical field (new graduates are welcome)
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating analytical instrumentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
PREFERRED:
- Hands-on experience with SEM/EDX, FTIR, or Raman spectroscopy techniques
- Laboratory safety certification or training
- Experience in a supervisory or mentoring capacity
