Who we are looking for

We are seeking an Officer who will report directly to the Assistant Vice President. This role will primarily focus on Full Stack development for SSCD projects, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of business‑critical applications.

Why this role is important to us

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful delivery of SSCD projects by providing dedicated ownership across full-stack development, spanning UI, backend services, and data layers.

A strong, scalable, and reliable application experience—covering both frontend usability and backend performance—is essential for driving user adoption, efficiency, and overall system stability. The Officer in this role translates product requirements into high-quality, maintainable end-to-end solutions, building intuitive user interfaces with React while developing robust APIs and business logic using Spring Boot and efficient SQL-based data models.

The role also ensures continuous enhancement and support of existing applications, addressing both frontend and backend improvements to maintain performance and scalability. Through hands-on involvement in unit testing, integration testing, and close collaboration with Product Owners, UX teams, and cross-functional development teams, the Officer directly contributes to application reliability, faster delivery cycles, and overall product quality.

By driving best practices across the full stack—including code quality, performance optimization, and seamless system integration—this role plays a key part in aligning technical delivery with business objectives, user satisfaction, and long-term platform sustainability.

What you will be responsible for

As an Officer, you will:

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex UI applications using ReactJS and modern frontend technologies, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Define and enforce frontend architecture, design patterns, and coding standards, promoting best practices across UI development teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX designers, backend teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Provided hands-on technical leadership across the stack, actively contributing to coding in React, Spring Boot, and SQL, while conducting code and design reviews, and mentoring team members on best practices in both frontend and backend development.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to UI developers, conducting code reviews, design reviews, and guiding the team on ReactJS best practices.
  • Drove adoption of modern frontend frameworks (React, MUI), state management solutions (Redux/Context API), and backend best practices including microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and efficient SQL query optimization.
  • Built and optimized secure, scalable backend services using Spring Boot, including business logic implementation, API development, integration with third-party systems, and database interactions using SQL (queries, joins, indexing, performance tuning).
  • Ensured high-quality code delivery through hands-on implementation of unit and integration testing (Jest, React Testing Library, JUnit), API testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration, improving reliability and deployment efficiency.
  • Actively optimized application performance across the stack, including UI performance tuning, backend response time optimization, and database query optimization, while ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives, contributing to delivery commitments.
  • Identify technical risks and bottlenecks, propose solutions, and take ownership of technical decision‑making.
  • Coordinate with global teams and stakeholders to ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery and alignment with overall project and business goals.
