Job Description -

Strategic Sourcing

Lead sourcing initiatives for key categories, projects, or business units.

Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess risks, and develop sourcing strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, finance, operations) to align sourcing goals with business needs.

1. Supplier Selection & Management

Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers based on capability, cost, quality, and service.

Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).

Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and support supplier development initiatives.

1. RFX Process Management

Lead and manage end-to-end Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.

Analyze proposals, evaluate supplier capabilities, and support final selection with data-driven insights.

Ensure sourcing documentation and bid evaluations comply with internal policies.

1. Contract & Compliance Management

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to draft, review, and finalize supplier contracts.

Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain and update contract records and sourcing documentation in procurement systems.

1. Cost Savings & Value Delivery

Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through negotiation, consolidation, or alternative sourcing.

Track and report on savings and value contributions to business leadership.

Support budgeting and spend analysis activities.

1. Stakeholder Engagement

Act as a sourcing business partner to internal stakeholders by understanding requirements and aligning sourcing strategies accordingly.

Conduct regular meetings with business units to gather feedback, address issues, and share sourcing plans.

Provide sourcing expertise and market insights to support decision-making.

1. Data & Spend Analytics

Analyze historical spend data and supplier performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Maintain and utilize procurement dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Power BI).

1. Process Improvement & Automation

Identify and drive improvements in sourcing processes, systems, and policies to increase efficiency and compliance.

Support the implementation of digital sourcing tools and e-sourcing platforms.

Keep sourcing SOPs and templates updated.
