What is this role all about?

As a Senior Legal Associate, you will play a key role in strengthening Kapture CX's legal and compliance ecosystem across customer, employee, finance, and partner functions. You'll work on high-value commercial contracts, enterprise negotiations, and compliance initiatives while partnering closely with leadership in a fast-growing AI-powered SaaS company.

• You will draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements including SaaS contracts, NDAs, DPAs, vendor agreements, and partner contracts.
• You will lead contractual discussions involving limitation of liability, indemnity, data privacy, compliance, and commercial risk mitigation.
• You will collaborate with business, finance, HR, sales, and leadership teams to provide practical legal advice that supports business growth.
• You will coordinate with external legal counsel and manage sensitive legal matters while ensuring timely resolutions.
• You will contribute to strengthening legal processes, compliance frameworks, governance practices, and information security initiatives across the organization.

This is a Bangalore-based role. We work five days a week from the office, as we believe in-person interactions fuel innovation and agility.

What does success look like in this role?

You are able to accelerate commercial contract closures while effectively balancing legal risk and business objectives, becoming a trusted legal advisor for both internal stakeholders and enterprise customers.

What would make you a good fit for this role?

Here are the basic requirements:

• You have 2–3 years of experience in commercial legal operations, corporate legal functions, or contract management.
• You have prior experience working in a SaaS, technology, or product-based company.
• You are comfortable independently handling enterprise customer negotiations and complex contractual discussions.
• You possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills while collaborating across cross-functional teams.

What are the most critical skills for this role?

• You have strong expertise in commercial contracting, DPAs, NDAs, and compliance-related legal frameworks.
• You are skilled at negotiating commercial terms while balancing legal, financial, and business priorities.
• You can confidently manage external legal counsel and engage with senior business stakeholders.
• You have a structured, detail-oriented approach to legal documentation, compliance, and contractual risk assessment.

You will have an advantage if you:

• You have prior experience working in a high-growth SaaS or AI-driven organization.
• You have exposure to information security, privacy, employment law, or HR-related legal matters.
• You have experience developing scalable legal templates, playbooks, and contracting processes.
