</ul></div><h4><em><strong>Why this role is exciting</strong></em></h4>

<p>We’re looking for a hands-on <strong>Senior IT Administrator</strong> to own and scale our internal IT operations, tools, devices, user management, and automation across Vay.</p>

<p>This will be in a central role working across almost every department at Vay, and supporting the entire organization by owning and evolving our internal IT systems and tools.&nbsp;</p>

<p>From managing Google Workspace and Atlassian products to troubleshooting daily issues, you’ll be the go-to person for everything IT. You'll have the autonomy to make improvements, automate processes, and scale infrastructure as we grow, while ensuring our internal systems run like clockwork.</p>

<h4><em><strong>What you'll be driving</strong></em></h4>

<ul>

<li><strong>Be the go-to IT person:</strong> across almost every department helpdesk, troubleshooting, vendor management, documentation, and internal tooling support</li>

<li><strong>Evolve Vay's identity and access infrastructure</strong>: administer IdPs, configure SSO across all internal tools, and manage the full user lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding</li>

<li><strong>Design and implement IT systems from scratch</strong>: not just operate what exists, but identify gaps, propose solutions, and build them</li>

<li><strong>Manage device fleet and MDM platforms </strong>across macOS, Windows, and Linux environments</li>

<li><strong>Run network infrastructure for the Berlin office</strong>: Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, meeting room hardware&nbsp;</li>

<li><strong>Automate everything worth automating</strong>: using scripting and workflow tools, including exploring AI/LLM-powered approaches</li>

<li><strong>Manage IT security posture</strong>: MFA policies, access control, incident response, device lock/wipe, and support for compliance frameworks</li>

</ul>

<h4><strong><em>This might be a great fit, if you have </em></strong></h4>

<p>At least 5+ years in IT administration with deep hands-on experience with Google Workspace and Atlassian administration.</p>

<ul>

<li><strong>Experience with IdP/SSO platforms: </strong>such as<strong> </strong>Okta, Azure AD/Entra, or similar</li>

<li><strong>Proven MDM administration</strong> across macOS and Windows (Intune, Jamf, or JumpCloud)</li>

<li><strong>Scripting ability in at least one of: </strong>Python, Bash, or Google Apps Script</li>

<li><strong>IT security awareness:</strong> MFA implementation, access policies, incident response basics</li>

<li><strong>A builder's mindset: </strong>you see broken processes and want to fix them, not just document them</li>

<li>Strong communication skills and comfort working independently in a small, high-impact team</li>
