<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE</strong></p>
<p>We’re looking for a strategic and experienced Resource Manager to join our EMEA resourcing team for our Experience & Engineering DACH Team (Across Germany and Switzerland). This role is essential in ensuring efficient resource allocation, optimizing utilization, and aligning with business growth in a fast-paced digital environment.</p>
<p>You’ll be responsible for matching the right talent to the right projects - balancing team skills, availability, and project needs to deliver high-quality work, on time and on budget. This includes managing billable headcount, supporting dynamic staffing needs, and planning ahead with the Commercial team to align with the business pipeline.</p>
<p>A strong understanding of digital project delivery (e.g., websites, e-commerce, mobile apps) and the roles involved - such as UX/UI Design,Strategy, Engineers, QA, Devops, among others. </p>

<p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p>
<p><strong>Resource Planning & Optimization</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own and manage the full resourcing lifecycle across Experience & Engineering requests for a pool of ~100 FTE</li>
<li>Evaluate capacity, utilization, and bandwidth to optimize allocation, balancing business needs with team wellbeing.</li>
<li>Make strategic resourcing decisions considering project margins, business priorities, and talent development</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Demand Forecasting & Workforce Planning</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Finance and Operation during project intake to build effective staffing plans</li>
<li>Develop and maintain accurate short- and long-term demand forecasts</li>
<li>Identify skill gaps and workforce needs, partnering with Craft Leads and People & Culture on hiring and training. </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Cross-Regional Resourcing & External Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate resourcing across EMEA, including nearshore and offshore teams</li>
<li>Identify and onboard freelancers or external partners when internal capacity is unavailable</li>
<li>Ensure a balanced approach between internal, nearshore/offshore, and freelance resourcing</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Stakeholder Management & Collaboration</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Act as a key partner to Delivery, Sales, Operations, Project Managers, and Craft Leads</li>
<li>Ensure alignment between resourcing strategies and business priorities</li>
<li>Bring a consultative approach by advising on alternative profiles or staffing solutions based on project needs</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Risk Management & Conflict Resolution</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proactively identify risks in resourcing plans and implement mitigation strategies</li>
<li>Manage and resolve resource conflicts, competing priorities, and overlapping demands</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Reporting, Data & Governance</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain high data quality within resource management tools (e.g., Resource Guru)</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with processes such as time tracking, allocations, and reporting</li>
<li>Track and report on key metrics (utilization, capacity, bench, freelance/nearshore ratios)</li>
<li>Provide regular insights to local, regional, and global leadership</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>WHAT YOU'll BRING</strong></p>
<p><strong>Experience & Background</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of experience in Resource Management, Engineering Resource Management, or Technical/Digital Project Management within a digital agency or product environment</li>
<li>Experience working across multiple markets and cultures (EMEA experience is a plus)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Digital & Technical Understanding</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong knowledge of digital roles (Backend, Frontend, DevOps, QA, Business Analysis, UX/UI, Project Management)</li>
<li>Solid understanding of digital product delivery (web, e-commerce, mobile) and cross-functional collaboration</li>
<li>Ability to translate project needs into effective staffing plans</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Analytical & Tools</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong analytical and forecasting skills, with experience in reporting tools such as Power BI</li>
<li>Proficiency in resource management tools (Resource Guru experience is a plus)</li>
</ul>
