Renewable Exchange is changing how renewable energy generators sell their power. We run the UK’s PPA marketplace from our Bristol HQ, and we are growing into Germany with ambitions to grow into other markets into the future.

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to own our marketing function end to end. This is a senior role with a wide remit. You will set the strategy and you will deliver it, from top level planning right down to building and fixing the HubSpot workflows that make it run.

You will work alongside the senior commercial team to grow the Renewable Exchange brand, drive demand into our most important accounts, and support our colleagues in Germany. If you are a hands on, commercially minded marketer who wants real ownership in a purpose led scale up, we want to hear from you. We value potential as much as experience. Even if you do not tick every box, get in touch and help play an active role in the move to net zero!

  • Sit within the senior commercial team, set direction and report on performance.

  • Generate inbound leads marketing qualified leads that align to our ICP.

Events

  • Be accountable for setting the commercial targets and measuring the return we get from event spend.

Brand, content and publications

  • Own brand messaging and visual identity across every touchpoint.
  • Produce and manage content for the website, email and social.
  • Lead our flagship publications, such as the PPA Market Report, and our Power Market Updates for the UK and Germany.
  • Curate a programme of webinars hosted internally and in collaboration with partners.

Digital, SEO and paid media

  • Oversee SEO, PPC, paid social and AI search, using external support where it helps.
  • Marketing operations and HubSpot
  • Hands on to build, fix and improve our HubSpot workflows, automations and reporting.
  • Keep our marketing data clean, compliant and reliable, including GDPR housekeeping.
  • Manage inbound lead handling across GB and DE.

Cross-team and partners

  • Work hand in hand with Commercial, Product and Data.
  • Coordinate internal and external marketing for new platform features and market launches.
  • Utilise external resources, such as designers & contractors to maximise impact.

Requirements

  • Experience leading a marketing function, or ready to take the next step up from a Marketing Manager position to own marketing deliverables.
  • Proven success marketing B2B services or products, ideally in tech or SaaS.
  • A data driven approach that drives decision making and provides insights for our team.
  • A track record of setting strategy and delivering measurable results.
  • Experience owning a marketing budget, being creative and looking for value.
  • Strong analytical skills and a habit of letting data drive decisions.
  • Hands on with the tools: HubSpot, Webflow, email platforms, and SEO, PPC and AI search.
  • Skilled across content creation, campaign delivery and performance tracking.
