Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

• Responsible for providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA optical thin film and SCD metrology in both customer fabrication and KLA facilities.
• Be responsible for customers’ recipe development and setup, technical training, project execution, and related pre-sales activities. Assists sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs. Provides follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications.
• Reports on regional requirements and updates to product division.
• Escalates field apps issue to division and foll ow up for issue fix. Works on sophisticated problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
• Generate film and SCD recipe development BKMs and publish technical paper.
• Review and evaluate quality of data in other related technical documents.
• Layer owner on complex demos.
• Serve as Applications Representative for PLC projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
