Key Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure OEM programs meet or exceed goals in customer satisfaction, compliance, quality, and team performance.
- Implement and manage changes or interventions to ensure successful achievement of project goals.
- Act as a key liaison between Tekion, OEMs, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication.
- Identify opportunities to enhance Tekion solutions using feedback and inputs from OEM partners.
- Produce accurate and timely reports on program status throughout its lifecycle. Analyze and proactively manage program risks.
- Support product-related activities across OEM programs, integrations, and design improvements.
- Build, engage, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at OEM and vendor partner levels.
- Define scope, timeline, and stakeholder involvement for OEM and vendor integrations.
- Develop integration timelines in alignment with OEM, product, and engineering teams to meet delivery commitments.
- Drive integrations end-to-end, identifying the fastest path to success and proactively removing blockers.
- Present and demonstrate Tekion products and services to OEMs and vendor partners.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define and deliver vendor integration requirements.
- Train field teams on integration usage and testing processes.
- Become a subject matter expert on DMS integrations for both OEM and vendor partner systems.
- Represent Tekion at conferences and trade shows, as required.
- Work closely with OEMs, dealers, and partners to define use cases, integration requirements, business cases, and user experiences.
- Oversee and own the complete integration lifecycle from initiation to successful delivery.
- Maintain clear and trusted communication with commercial, product, and engineering teams.
- Communicate effectively with customer executives (CIOs/CTOs) and other key stakeholders.
- Define and manage delivery milestones, timelines, and success criteria for customer implementations.
- Draft resource allocation plans and Statements of Work (SOW) aligned with customer and business objectives.
- Clearly communicate the business value and impact of deliverables to customers and internal teams.
- Monitor, assess, and mitigate delivery risks, adapting plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain structured and transparent reporting on project progress, risks, and next steps, tailored for customer communication.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years project/program management experience.
- Define product requirements, prioritization and drive ongoing collaboration with our world-class product and 1 engineering teams.
- Sales mindedness and/or experience considered plus.
- High level of interpersonal communication skills including.
- Responsible, organized, creative, and excellent attention to detail.
- Must be proficient in Software Products such as - Word, Excel, SharePoint, Confluence and PowerPoint.
- Strong business ethics.
- High energy, self-starter with the ability to exceed in team and independent environments.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience working in the automotive retail industry.
- Experience working at or with OEMs.
- Experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
- Experience with Product Management / Integrations.
