:The Team:

The Post Trade Securities and Corporate Actions team within S&P Global Market Intelligence delivers platforms that support post-trade securities processing, corporate actions automation, proxy solutions, custody operations, investment accounting, and business analytics.

The team provides solutions that enable clients to manage trade flow, automate corporate actions and income processing, validate announcements, and support downstream processing across business lines and geographies. The platform also includes web-based self-service capabilities for front-office, middle-office, operations, and end-customer users to interact seamlessly with their post-trade environment.

From a reference data perspective, the team supports Managed Corporate Actions, a centralized source of validated corporate action announcements covering equities, fixed income, and structured finance securities across global markets.

The Impact:

This role is critical in enhancing and evolving S&P Global’s post-trade securities and corporate actions suite of products. The successful candidate will partner closely with clients to understand their current operating model, define their target-state process, and design the most optimal product configuration to support their business requirements.

The Associate Director, Product Management will act as a key liaison between clients, Product Managers, Engineering, Development, and Quality teams to support product enhancements and successful delivery. The role will involve defining scope, identifying gaps, documenting client requirements, and supporting clients in defining test suites and acceptance criteria.

The candidate will work with global teams across Dublin, New York, London, Singapore, Noida, and Gurgaon.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the underlying business, implementation needs, and product usage of assigned client accounts.
  • Lead product consultancy and act as a subject matter expert throughout the project lifecycle and post-go-live support.
  • Work with clients to define the most optimal future-state operational process and related product configuration.
  • Understand existing client business processes and translate them into target-state workflows on the platform.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to analyze, design, and deliver functional enhancements.
  • Elicit client requirements, identify gaps, propose solutions, and prepare well-defined functional specification documents.
  • Act as the SPOC between client stakeholders, Product Managers, Development teams, and Quality teams.
  • Finalize scope, document client requirements, and assist clients in defining test suites and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead client engagement workshops and implementation discussions along with other team members.
  • Support multiple stakeholder groups across locations including Dublin, New York, London, Singapore, Noida, and Gurgaon.
  • Demonstrate strong delivery focus, time management, and personal organization skills.
  • Travel may be required based on business and client needs.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Prior experience in Capital Markets, post-trade automation, and corporate actions is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of product implementation, client engagement, and business analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-oriented mindset.
  • Understanding and experience of Agile software development processes and the overall project lifecycle.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a global team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proactive attitude toward identifying issues, resolving problems, and finding innovative solutions.

Technical / Product Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Python, its applications, and ecosystem.
  • Ability to perform quick prototyping using AI and Generative AI tools.
  • Mindset to design solutions with AI as a core component, not as an afterthought.
  • Understanding of DevOps will be an added advantage.
  • Enthusiasm for Agile processes, emerging technologies, and their potential business impact.

  • Lead client engagement workshops and implementation activities along with other team members.
