About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
Salesforce is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Platform Identity Services org — the team responsible for all authentication and identity services across Salesforce.
Platform Identity secures and unifies how users, applications, and AI agents authenticate and are authorized across every Salesforce product. The team owns the foundational identity infrastructure powering billions of logins, API requests, and interactions daily — spanning authentication protocols, login experiences, user lifecycle management, and authorization frameworks. As Salesforce expands into the Agentic Era, Platform Identity plays a critical role in enabling trusted, seamless experiences across clouds and partner ecosystems, making it one of the most strategically important engineering organizations in the company.
Responsibilities
- Own roadmap and strategy for one or more areas within the Identity Services org, balancing new capabilities against stability, quality, and internal customer needs
- Drive cross-functional alignment across a broad set of internal stakeholders — engineering, architecture, and consuming cloud teams — to prioritize, sequence, and deliver shared platform frameworks and services
- Act as the voice of the customer: understand how internal teams across Salesforce, as well as external customers and builders, consume platform metadata and schema services; identify friction and gaps, and advocate for improvements that reduce integration complexity and improve self-serviceability
- Partner on company-priority programs (such as Agentforce, Agentic Identity, Headless360, and more) to ensure platform identity keeps pace with evolving product requirements and company strategy
Required Skills/Experience
- 10+ years of overall professional experience, including 6+ years in product management, with a strong preference for platform, infrastructure, or developer/internal-facing products
- Proven ability to operate in complex, cross-functional environments with many internal stakeholders, competing priorities, and layered dependencies
- Experience defining and driving product roadmaps for shared platform services or frameworks used by multiple consuming teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to articulate complex infrastructure concepts clearly for both engineering audiences and executive stakeholders
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and creating clarity in fast-moving, high-stakes programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with identity protocols and standards (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, FIDO2/passkeys)
- Familiarity with the Salesforce identity model (Connected Apps, Named Credentials, Auth Providers, User Licensing)
- Prior experience at a major identity provider (Okta, Ping, ForgeRock, Azure AD) or direct Salesforce ecosystem experience
- Experience navigating shared identity infrastructure used across multiple products or clouds
- Familiarity with agentic AI identity patterns, including agent authentication, delegated authorization, and trust frameworks for AI-to-AI interactions
