Job Description

About the Role:

Lead Resilience Governance & Strategic Implementation

  • Lead the Resilience governance program and support the organization's ability to respond to disasters and interruptions in an appropriate manner
  • Support the implementation of common resiliency and recovery taxonomies and policies
  • Work with critical stakeholders to inform them of the Resilience framework and its importance across the enterprise

Support Crisis Response & Recovery Operations

  • Support response and recovery activities during times of crisis, disasters, and/or other emergencies
  • Ensure recovery procedures are effective for the restoration of key corporate resources and resumption of critical business processes
  • Support the enterprise-wide Crisis Management process and integrate escalation and response protocols into the Resiliency function
  • Work collaboratively with and provide guidance to business units to ensure recovery solutions are appropriately implemented and supported

Drive Risk Analysis & Recovery Strategy Development

  • Perform risk analysis for critical business processes and applications to identify points of vulnerability, and recommend disaster avoidance and reduction strategies
  • Leverage Resilience analysis output to design new recovery strategies and refresh existing strategies for maintenance and resumption of operations to meet business requirements
  • Document strategic information captured through analysis within standardized business recovery plan templates to support execution of strategies and continuation/recovery of business activities

Collaborate Across Risk, Compliance & Third-Party Functions

  • Work closely with Compliance to ensure successful execution of Resilience policy across Physical Security, EHS, or BCDR
  • Work with other teams within Risk and Compliance to drive efficiencies and risk mitigation capabilities across the organization
  • Partner with Third-Party Risk to identify critical third-party vendors (leveraging BIA output) and co-develop recovery strategies with vendors to support continuity of services

About You:

  • Experience supporting resilience functions such as Physical Security, Health & Safety, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or Corporate Crisis Management
  • Ability to support the implementation of a global, enterprise-level, and sustainable resilience framework in collaboration with diverse business stakeholders
  • Experience validating that technology solutions meet business needs
  • Skilled in performing risk management analysis and developing business continuity, contingency, and disaster recovery plans aligned with organizational policy
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills to work effectively across business units, Compliance, and Third-Party Risk teams
  • Ability to communicate complex resilience and risk concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Versatile, innovative, and solutions-oriented approach to risk management
