We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Intern to join our Polish Engineering team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, data science, industrial automation processes, and contribute to cutting-edge projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in developing and implementing automation solutions for manufacturing
- processes
- Collaborate on the programming and testing of automated systems
- Support data collection and analysis for process improvement initiatives
- Participate in the troubleshooting process issues
- Contribute to the documentation of automated processes and procedures
- Support the team in research on emerging automation or data science technologies
This position is part of our Early Career program at WD. Our Early Career program is designed to support individuals beginning their professional career by providing foundational training through a structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.
REQUIRED:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, AI, Statistics, Business
- Analytics, Computer Science, Software Eng, Information Systems
- Strong interest in industrial automation and control systems
- Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI/Tableau,
- basic ML (trend, anomaly), APIs, dashboards, low-code automation tools
PREFERRED:
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques
- Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical principles
- Experience with robotics or motion control systems
