The PLT Uniformity Tech III will:
Position has two major areas of responsibility: PLT TBM alignment and uniformity optimization. Uniformity problem investigation and data collection activities in addition to normal daily activities for OE yield optimization and classified analysis, the Setup Technician will be assigned special projects to be completed.
- Alignments of TBM as needed
- Vector Balancing of TBMs
- Vector Balancing of Press/Mold systems
- Set splice arrangements for all tires.
- Processing of evaluation tires on TUOs and Balancers
- Component and Machine Waveform builds
- Uniformity audits
- Uniformity Problem Investigation work
- Classified Tire Analysis work
- Conducting Special Evaluations as assigned
- Uniformity Set-up tech will follow all plant policies, environmental policies, and plant and departmental safety policies.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Uniformity Manager or Engineer.
- Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.
NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associates degree or 5 years experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.

- Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
- New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends.
- The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.

The starting annual salary for this role is $64,613 a year.
