  • You will be joining Deutsche Bank Management Consulting (DBMC), the Bank’s in-house management consulting global function that partners with senior executives across the bank to deliver impact. Your key responsibilities

  • Support the end‑to‑end delivery of project modules, working independently within established consulting and bank frameworks and ensuring analytical rigor, quality, and alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Engage directly with internal clients and stakeholders across functions/geographies; prepare for and independently conduct meetings, workshops, and working sessions.
  • Prepare high‑quality decision‑making materials (e.g. presentations, briefing notes, analyses) for senior executives including bank’s Management Board.
  • Provide day‑to‑day guidance and task‑level direction to junior team members (e.g. Analysts, interns), supporting their development and ensuring quality of outputs.
  • Escalate to senior team members (e.g., Engagement Managers, Directors) in a timely manner to raise topics that may project quality and delivery
  • Leverage technology/AI‑enabled tools, to determine problem statements, improve analytical efficiency, generate insights and develop recommendations, and quality of project deliverables
  • Own and drive strategic internal initiatives alongside client projects, including Learning & Development, DE&I, Culture and Branding, in close collaboration with consulting teams across London, Frankfurt and Mumbai
  • Flexibility to work across global time zones (US/European hours), as required for the project needs and stakeholder interactions.
  • Act in line with the bank’s values & aspirational culture, contributing to an inclusive, collaborative, and high‑performance team environment.
  • Ensure awareness of and adherence to relevant bank policies, practices, governance, and control requirements, proactively flagging delivery, risk, or stakeholder concerns.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for talents with above-average academic performance in all disciplines (Bachelor's / Master's degree) to address the bank’s most crucial challenges and drive strategic change. Professional qualifications are important, but your personality is even more decisive to us.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant Consulting or financial services experience focusing on strategy, transformation & demonstrating problem‑solving, structured thinking, and delivery ownership.
  • Ability to understand and work with complex procedures, governance frameworks, and stakeholder environments typical of a large financial institution.
  • Excellent analytical, structuring, and synthesis skills, with strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Clear, confident communicator in English, capable of explaining and interpreting complex information to support stakeholder alignment and decision‑making; German language skills are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in AI tools, use case identification and implementation is an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and resolve conflicts constructively, balancing stakeholder perspectives to move topics forward.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development, and a willingness to support and develop junior colleagues.
