About the Role:

As a Manager – Business & Partnerships at Teachmint, you will drive business growth by building and managing strategic partner networks across your assigned region. You will work closely with channel partners, schools, and internal teams to generate leads, drive closures, and expand Teachmint’s presence in the education sector. The role involves solution-based selling of hardware and classroom technology products while ensuring strong partner engagement and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and onboarding partners in the assigned territory and ensuring partner activation.
  • Coordinating with the sales team, institutes, and partners to ensure smooth communication to drive closures.
  • Develop and execute region-specific sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
  • Regularly connecting and visiting partners to ensure a continuous flow of leads.
  • Identifying and shadowing the partner team on the sales pitches and demo, if and when necessary.
  • Build, manage, and nurture channel partner relationships to expand Teachmint's presence.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish a strong distribution network.
  • Work with the team to penetrate the education market and achieve revenue targets.
  • Coordinating internally to ensure timely training of the partner team.
  • Conducting needs assessments and recommending solutions tailored to the specific requirements.
  • Identifying and targeting educational institutions such as schools, colleges, and universities as potential customers to drive direct or partner secondary sales.
  • Presenting product demonstrations, proposals, and quotations to prospective partners/clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our solutions.
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms of sale in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy.
  • Ensure seamless execution of sales processes, reporting, and analytics.
  • Represent Teachmint’s values and offerings to stakeholders effectively

Skills & Competencies:

  • Any degree in Business, Sales, or related fields.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to inspire and drive results.
  • A strategic thinker who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Proven track record of success in hardware sales, preferably within the education industry.
  • Informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the education sector.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware products including computers, interactive displays, and networking equipment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers, understanding their pain points and proposing effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools to manage leads, and track activities.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
