We actively encourage applications from women and underrepresented genders in tech. Diverse teams build better products. And we mean it.
Education is one of the hardest nuts to crack, and that's exactly what makes it worth it. At OneTutor, we combine startup velocity with real impact: AI tools that help people actually learn better. That takes taste, thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and an evidence-based way of working, because in education, close enough isn't good enough.
As Founding Growth Marketer, you'll work directly with our growth founder to build our brand, growth engine, and community. You already know what you're doing, bring some real experience, and are fired up to own something that matters. You think in evidence, not assumptions. You sweat the details because they're the difference between something people use and something people trust.
Tasks
Demand & Growth
- Generate B2B demand. Increase awareness for OneTutor as a SaaS and AI partner on LinkedIn, at in-person events, press, and beyond.
- Contribute to growth. Own and execute the inbound growth engine end-to-end. Set strategy across all channels including SEO, paid, content, and product marketing.
- Learn from data. Track, measure, and report on all campaigns; set KPIs, run experiments, iterate fast, and communicate results across the organisation.
Brand & Content
- Own the brand. Evolve OneTutor's brand, positioning, and visual presence. Ensure consistency across every touchpoint, working closely with founders, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Drive the website. Treat our website as a primary growth and conversion channel; develop it continuously.
- Translate complexity into clarity. Turn complex AI topics into compelling stories and visuals that resonate with educators and decision-makers.
- Produce assets. Create presentations, landing pages, campaign materials, event collateral, and other brand assets, hands-on, end to end.
Events & Community
- Run the show. Roundtables, conferences, and webinars: you own events end-to-end, from first idea to last follow-up, and conceive and host formats for educators and customers.
- Build the community. Help build the go-to community for AI in education. Not a mailing list. A space people identify with, learn from, and keep coming back to.
Requirements
Demand & Growth
- Data-driven. You make decisions based on facts and analytically evaluate the success of experiments and campaigns.
Brand & Content
- Exceptional taste. You bring exceptional taste and attention to detail in everything you produce.
- Execute and elevate. You can take an existing vision and make it better, not just pitch your own ideas.
- Relevant experience. You've worked in marketing, brand, or content, ideally in a startup or as an early marketing hire.
Events & Community
- You've run things people showed up for. You've organized events or initiatives that people genuinely loved, and you're hungry for more.
- A natural connector. You bring people together and build relationships that last.
- Bonus: you've built something of your own. A project, a community, or a side hustle. You know what it means to start from zero.
How you work
- Entrepreneurial and scrappy. You don't wait for permission or perfect conditions. You run MVPs, see what works, kill what doesn't, and ship again. You roll up your sleeves. No job is too small.
- You work hard. You do what needs to get done. No ego, no excuses. This isn't a 9-to-5. If that sounds miserable, this isn't for you. If it sounds exciting, you'll fit right in.
- Reliable and detail-oriented. When you own something, it's done right, on time, fully thought through, and at a high quality bar.
- Teamplayer. You work seamlessly across teams. Sales, product, team members, and partners: you align stakeholders, keep everyone in the loop, and make things happen across functions.
