The incumbent will be part of the development engineering team as an individual contributor. The candidate will be involved in the development of new features and maintenance of existing features and engaged in all phases of development, from early requirement and technical specifications to definition to development to release. They are encouraged to be a hands-on problem solver and well conversant in analyzing, designing, and implementing hybrid multi-platform Java/JS based high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include

  • Passion & capability to drive a product feature from design inception, development, QA testing then to production, ensuring high quality in the various software development lifecycle
  • Writing UML designs and well-structured object-oriented code.
  • Working in a highly agile Scrum-based process model.
  • Design, architecture & develop applications for reliability, scalability & maintainability
  • Write and test interactive, clean, secure, and efficient solutions
  • Solve non-trivial coding and architecture problems with simple and innovative solutions
  • Interfacing regularly with Product Management, Engineering Management, Architects, and Quality teams to deliver features.

Requirements

The key requirements of the position are

  • BTech/MTech or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering from a prestigious institute.
  • With 4 years of hands-on work experience as a programmer/developer.
  • Very strong concepts and programming skills in Java and JS
  • Familiarity with the latest front-end technologies like React, Angular.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience in Git/Github or other version control systems
  • Understanding of CI/CD and the deployment process for frontend and backend applications
  • Consistent record to craft and develop software solutions with exposure to designing skills, OOPS, Design Patterns, and UML
  • Solid understanding of databases, XML technologies, and tools.
  • Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to problems
  • Should be able to quickly adapt to new programming paradigms, languages, tools, and problem areas
  • Good familiarity with Windows/Mac/Unix operating systems and development tools on these platforms
  • Outstanding organizational, presentation, and social skills (will need to work well with product managers, program managers, and various functional teams)
  • Should be self-managed, responsive, self-motivated, upbeat, and a fast learner
