Job Description

This role is responsible for supporting a wide range of financial crime and risk management activities across fraud detection, fraud investigations, credit risk, collections, skip tracing, disputes, chargebacks, account security, and related operational processes. The role involves protecting customers and financial institutions from financial losses through timely analysis, investigation, decision-making, and execution of operational controls while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform operational activities related to fraud detection, fraud investigations, credit risk, collections, skip tracing, disputes, chargebacks, account security, and other financial crime and risk management functions.
  • Review customer accounts, transactions, documentation, and supporting information to identify risks, validate requests, and determine appropriate actions.
  • Analyze transaction patterns, account behavior, and operational data to detect suspicious activities, identify emerging risks, and support effective decision-making.
  • Conduct investigations on suspected fraud, operational exceptions, disputes, credit-related activities, and other risk events in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Perform account reviews, case assessments, document validation, and evidence gathering to support operational decisions and case resolution.
  • Support collection, recovery, skip tracing, and account resolution activities through research, documentation, and case management.
  • Research operational exceptions using multiple systems, databases, and internal tools to resolve cases accurately and within defined service levels.
  • Accurately document investigation findings, case decisions, supporting evidence, and actions taken within designated systems.
  • Escalate high-risk, complex, or suspicious cases to appropriate stakeholders in accordance with established procedures.
  • Meet established productivity, quality, compliance, accuracy, and turnaround time standards while adhering to regulatory and client requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information and comply with applicable security, privacy, and risk management policies.
  • Support process improvement initiatives, business continuity activities, testing, and additional operational responsibilities as assigned.
