Community Manager
Location: Remote (ET) | Type: Full-time
Levellr is the enterprise community intelligence and management solution for Discord & Reddit, used by some of the world’s largest gaming companies (Scopely, Krafton, Epic), and brands (Google, YouTube) to help them grow, manage and monetise their communities.
These brands trust Levellr with their most valuable asset: their community. As a Community Manager, you’ll own and be accountable to that trust for the clients on your roster. You’ll partner closely with our in-house specialists, plan and run activations that turn members into fans, and report back real business impact in language your clients’ businesses care about. You won’t do every job yourself – you’ll make sure the right work happens, in the right order, and that your clients are constantly face to face with the business value their community spaces provide.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Own the health and business value of assigned client communities – the single point of accountability for community strategy, performance, and client trust
- Collaborate across our in-house technical, creative, and moderation functions to ensure consistent day-to-day delivery of services, while maintaining a laser focus on and elevating the client’s strategic priorities and key objectives
- Plan and run community initiatives and activations – campaigns, AMAs, competitions, and events that hit engagement and growth KPIs on an agreed monthly cadence
- Own executive-ready reporting – translating engagement, wins/losses, and competitive insight into a business-impact story your client’s own stakeholders find credible
- Serve as the voice of the client to stakeholders across the business, including Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure Levellr is building with and for our clients
WHO YOU ARE
- 4+ years of experience in enterprise or blue-chip brand client management – comfortable communicating with clients, participating in weekly calls, , giving strategic advice, and being a trusted voice in front of a brand’s own stakeholders
- Available and responsive during core US Eastern Time hours – our largest client’s most requested coverage window
- Executive-ready storyteller – turns engagement data and competitive insight into a business-impact story credible to senior client stakeholders
- Brand-safety judgement – knows what’s on-brand and off-brand for a blue-chip client, and catches issues before they land
- A strategic operator – comfortable owning or leading forward with outcomes you don’t directly produce
- Self-starting and proactive – you spot what needs doing and get it done
- Organised and adaptable – juggling multiple accounts and specialist stakeholders
- Passionate about community – Genuinely energised by and involved in community, whether online or physical
- AI fluency – you use AI tools like Claude and Gemini to actually build automations and workflows, not just for research or drafting
- Platform and tooling fluency – comfortable with Discord/Reddit strategy and tools like Notion, Google Workspace, and Claude/Gemini
Bonus Points:
- Have run your own Discord server or been an active member in several
- Tech-sector fluency – experience working with technology clients or inside a tech company, and comfortable with the pace, product cycles, and matrixed stakeholder maps that come with it
WHO WE ARE
Levellr was founded by Tom (CEO) and Ben (CTO), who have experience in both start-ups and large scale companies (YouTube, Eleven Sports). Since 2021 we’ve grown the team to 30+ employees and are backed by a number of successful angels (Mark Pincus, Dylan Collins, Mitch Lasky, Bing Gordon, Frank Gibeau to name a few). The product that we are building is growing in multiple verticals, seeing a 6x growth over the last 3 years and on track to continue.
We believe in substance over hype. We're a product-led company building a sustainable business by solving our customers' most pressing problems. This allows us to create a culture and a company that we're proud to build together. Some of the values we stand for:
- We have ownership. We embrace change and take bold risks.
- We get shit done. We have a bias for action and love creating value from our code and our conversations.
- We disagree and commit. We give radically honest feedback and challenge assumptions, then get behind the result & move on.
- We grow in uncertainty. We listen to market feedback and iterate continuously to build products our customers love.
- We care. We care about our team and our community/(ies).
