Our journey so far

Jupiter was founded in 2019 by Jitendra Gupta. Best known as Citrus Pay’s founder, Jiten found himself wondering why personal finance experiences were not customer-centric when everything else like food ordering and entertainment were. That’s how our journey began in 2019, with a simple, powerful idea: to create a modern, customer-centric experience that empowers individuals when it comes to their money.

From our humble beginnings, we've strived relentlessly to make managing money easier. In 2021 when we launched we had a waitlist with over 100,000 people eager to experience the world of Jupiter - and within 10 months we crossed 1 million users. Today, we have 2.8 million+ happy users on Jupiter.

Our Insights feature today tells how much and where you’ve been spending automatically, even on your other savings accounts! Our Edge CSB Bank RuPay credit card is getting a lot of love for it’s head-turning transparent design, not to mention it being a rewarding experience. Our No-Penalty SIP and Daily SIP at Rs 10/- has helped scale our investments business and we have over 100,000 users investing on our platform to fulfill their money aspirations.

We've embraced cutting-edge technology, harnessed the power of data analytics, and assembled a diverse team of creative thinkers and industry experts who share our vision for a more accessible, transparent, and inclusive financial ecosystem. We’re now looking for like-minded folks to join the crew.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Lead to own and drive the end-to-end employee lifecycle at Jupiter Money — from onboarding through to exit. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in HRMS administration, HR compliance, and Excel-based reporting and analytics, with a proven ability to build efficient, scalable, and audit-ready HR processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the complete employee lifecycle end-to-end — pre-onboarding, onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, promotions, employee data management, and full and final settlement upon exit.
  • Manage and administer the HRMS platform, ensuring all employee records, org data, leave, attendance, and self-service workflows are accurate, up to date, and fully utilised across the employee lifecycle.
  • Drive HR compliance and statutory requirements, including PF, ESI, gratuity, professional tax, Shops & Establishment Act, POSH, labour law filings, and other applicable regulations; liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities as needed.
  • Design, maintain, and audit HR dashboards, trackers, and MIS reports in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation) to provide leadership with real-time visibility into headcount, attrition, onboarding TAT, and other key HR metrics.
  • Manage the exit process end-to-end, including resignation processing, exit interviews, clearance coordination, full-and-final settlement, and exit documentation, ensuring a smooth and compliant offboarding experience.
  • Partner with Finance/Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely inputs for payroll processing, including new joiners, exits, salary changes, and statutory deductions.
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready employee documentation and personnel files, ensuring data privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Support internal and external HR audits, and ensure organizational readiness for compliance reviews and certifications.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR operations processes, improving turnaround time and employee experience.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, processes, and systems, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, and functional leaders to ensure smooth handoffs across the employee journey.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in HR Operations, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end employee lifecycle management (onboarding to exit).
  • Strong, hands-on experience managing an HRMS platform (e.g., Darwinbox, GreytHR, Keka, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar); prior implementation or migration experience is a plus.
  • Solid working knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, Shops & Establishment, POSH, etc.).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets — pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional formatting, and dashboard/report building is a must.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and process-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Payroll, Finance, Legal, and business leaders.
  • Prior experience in a startup, fintech, or fast-scaling tech environment is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related field is preferred.

What we offer

  • The opportunity to build and shape HR operations at one of India's fastest-growing fintech companies.
  • A collaborative, data-driven culture that values ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Competitive compensation, health benefits, and a strong learning environment.
