Position Description & Requirements

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO:

Radiology Partners, through its affiliated practices, is a leading radiology practice in the U.S., serving hospitals and other healthcare facilities across the nation. As a physician-led and physician-owned practice, our mission is to transform radiology by innovating across clinical value, technology, service, and economics, while elevating the role of radiology and radiologists in healthcare. Using a proven healthcare services model, Radiology Partners provides consistent, high-quality care to patients, while delivering enhanced value to the hospitals, clinics, imaging centers and referring physicians we serve. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager, HR Process Excellence is a builder of the next‑generation People & Culture operating model. This role reimagines how HR work is designed, delivered, and scaled by leveraging emerging technologies, AI agents, and intelligent workflows to create a more agile, efficient, and human‑centered function.

Operating at the intersection of process, technology, and experience, this role partners with HR and enterprise leaders to identify where work can be automated, augmented, or fundamentally redesigned. The Manager, HR Process Excellence leads structured discovery to clarify complex operational challenges, uncover root causes, and design future‑state workflows that seamlessly blend human expertise with digital labor, including agent‑based solutions and workflow automation.

A core responsibility of this role is designing adaptive process flows that are built to evolve. Rather than static processes, solutions are intentionally created to capture insights, incorporate new tools, and rapidly adopt improved ways of working as business needs, technologies, and teammate expectations change. This includes identifying opportunities to deploy AI agents for repeatable, data‑driven work, while preserving human judgment and connection in moments that matter most.

The Manager, HR Process Excellence owns end‑to‑end process design and solution integrity, ensuring workflows, automations, and AI‑enabled solutions are scalable, compliant, and adoption‑ready. While approved initiatives are executed by a dedicated Project Manager, this role provides ongoing strategic direction and governance to ensure solutions deliver sustained value and remain aligned with a modern, technology‑enabled People & Culture strategy.

This role is ideal for a forward‑thinking HR innovator who thrives on building what’s next and shaping how people, technology, and work come together in a rapidly evolving environment.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with HR leaders and executive stakeholders to define problem statements, scope, success criteria, and prioritize operational improvement initiatives enabled by technology, automation, and AI.
  • Lead end-to-end analysis of current-state processes using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methods to identify root causes, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Design scalable future-state workflows that integrate human expertise with automation and AI, including agile process models that can evolve with changing tools and business needs.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans with clear timelines, KPIs, governance, and measurable outcomes, ensuring alignment with compliance, efficiency, and employee experience goals.
  • Collaborate with HRIS, technology, and change management teams to support implementation, adoption, and sustainability, while providing executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and impact.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Knowledge

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of continuous improvement and operational excellence methodologies, with expertise in process design, root cause analysis, performance measurement, and governance.
  • Brings a modern understanding of how emerging technologies, workflow automation, and AI can be applied within HR and regulated environments.

Skills

  • Applies structured problem‑solving, systems thinking, and analytical rigor to complex operational challenges.
  • Effectively facilitates cross‑functional collaboration and translates ambiguity into clear, actionable future‑state designs that leverage both human and digital capabilities.

Abilities

  • Ability to independently take defined challenges through diagnosis, redesign, and sustainable implementation.
  • Effectively influences stakeholders without direct authority, balances strategic vision with disciplined execution, and manages multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while remaining accountable for outcomes and adoption.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or consulting (3–5 years considered with demonstrated enterprise‑level process and project leadership experience)
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt minimum)
  • Formal training in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process transformation methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience leading structured process redesign initiatives from problem definition through future‑state solution design
  • Experience working within healthcare and/or regulated environments
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority

PREFERRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • PMP certification preferred or required if leading assigned strategic initiatives
  • Experience supporting or leading HRIS implementations; Workday strongly preferred
