Join Akamai as a Manager, Social Media Campaign Orchestration, Employee & Executive Advocacy. Reporting to the Global Head of Social Media, Community, and Advocacy, you will serve as the operational engine of our global social organization. In this role, you will orchestrate integrated marketing campaigns across the social ecosystem, lead our global executive and employee advocacy programs, and scale platform usage across cross-functional teams. You will lead campaign alignment between creative, community, and go-to-market teams while leveraging automated workflows and smart operations to maximize campaign reach and protect team velocity.
As a Manager of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for:
- Serving as the primary campaign project manager across global social initiatives, orchestrating rollouts that pull in video/storytelling assets from our Social Storytelling Lead, SME insights from our Community Lead, and distribution across advocacy networks
- Owning and scaling the enterprise Employee Advocacy program; leading strategy and execution for Employee and Executive Advocacy to drive internal adoption, content curation, executive positioning, and program measurement
- Partnering with teams across the business (sales, content, product marketing, customer advocacy, channel marketing, etc.) to identify and optimize content that empowers customer-facing teams with compliant, high-impact social content to drive pipeline
- Managing policy guardrails, intake hygiene, brand page governance, and channel security in partnership with Legal, InfoSec, and Marketing Operations.
- Serving as direct manager for a Social Media Coordinator, overseeing submission intake queues, asset organization, publishing distribution pipelines, and integrating automated workflows to protect team velocity
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- 8 years of experience in social media strategy, enterprise campaign management, or leading global employee advocacy and enablement programs and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- Demonstrate a proven track record of managing enterprise advocacy platforms and building Executive Advocacy and/or Social Selling programs.
- Possess a strong project management background with the ability to orchestrate complex, multi-stakeholder campaigns across creative, PR, brand, community, and regional GTM teams
- Demonstrate a tech- and efficiency-minded approach, with hands-on experience with modern project management systems (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and an understanding of how automated workflows streamline publishing pipelines
- Exhibit outstanding cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills, with experience managing direct reports and driving change management across complex global matrixed organizations.

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $99,000 - $178,200/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
