One of our key areas is the Core UX & Mobile area, where we work on the foundations of the experience for our users across both mobile and web platforms. In this area, we define the core patterns and architecture that other teams build upon. It’s about setting the groundwork that ensures consistency, quality, and scalability across the product.
We’re looking for a strong, talented Senior Designer who will play a key role in this area and take ownership of it. This role involves close collaboration with multiple teams and requires someone who can confidently influence, and drive foundational experience decisions across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include fostering innovation and working closely with diverse teams to ensure an outstanding user experience.
Core UX & Mobile @PandaDoc
- Develop Information Architecture: Design and evolve the overall information architecture of the application, ensuring clarity, logical structure, and seamless navigation across the entire product ecosystem.
- Build Cross-Platform Foundations: Work across both web and mobile platforms to create consistent, scalable experience patterns that adapt to the specifics of each platform while maintaining a unified product vision.
- Establish Core Experience Patterns: Define reusable UX patterns and structural frameworks that serve as the foundation for other teams, enabling them to build features on top of a coherent and well-designed base.
- Collaborate with the Design System Team: Partner closely with the design system to ensure scalability, consistency, and technical feasibility, so that solutions are reusable and easy for other designers and engineers to adopt.
- Enable Scalable Product Evolution: Create a flexible experience framework that allows other teams to layer their solutions efficiently, supporting long-term product growth without fragmenting the user experience.
Role responsibilities:
- End-to-end Process: Independently manage full design cycles, from research through to implementation. Demonstrate a solid understanding of user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Design Execution: Craft user journeys aligned with product behavior, user needs, and workflows. Proficient in prototyping, uses design system components and meaningful data to validate both physical and digital interactions.
- Research: Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research to gather insights and refine design hypotheses. Iterate designs based on user feedback and research findings to continuously improve the product experience and validate design solutions.
- Design System: Collaborate with the design system team and developers to implement improvements. Identify potential issues in components and the contribution process.
- Collaboration: Proactively communicate changes, project progress, updates, project notes, strategic thoughts, etc. to managers, key stakeholders, and peers. Ensuring visual and functional consistency across all product.
- Advocacy: Promote design principles and user-centered design philosophy across the organization.
- Usability and accessibility: Champion usability and accessibility principles to create intuitive and accessible user experiences. Refine user journeys and interactions to simplify complex workflows and enhance user satisfaction.
Your core competencies:
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in interaction design, visual design, information architecture, and design systems. Proven track record in designing sophisticated software products that prioritize intuitive user experiences.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and accessibility standards. Understanding of user psychology and human-centered design principles. Bonus points if you have experience in document lifecycle management software.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Framer, Adobe Creative Suite) and a strong understanding of front-end and AI technologies.
- Research: Demonstrated ability to deeply understand user needs through integrating user research into the design process. Proficient in gathering and utilizing both qualitative and quantitative user research to drive informed design decisions.
- Communication: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (B2 in English), with the ability to articulate complex design concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving design issues.

Salary:
The monthly base salary for this role is up to 23,000 PLN to 26,000 PLN.
