MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our team in.

The UI/UX Designer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support the Sponsor’s system accreditation efforts, to include creating Body of Evidence (BOE) documentation, responding to/implementing/documenting required controls, and completing required tasks/actions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • You will ensure user-centric design is practiced across all product teams by managing both graphic design and user interactions.
  • This role involves creating engaging content and developing user interfaces in support of the TAK Product Center core development efforts.
  • Produce technical documentation and wire diagrams to translate user requirements into actionable technical guidelines.
  • Work with management and internal teams to successfully navigate the Sponsor’s accreditation process for all design-related system components.
  • This position requires you to respond quickly and productively to user requirements and frequent change requests.
  • Facilitate frequent meetings and interviews with users and stakeholders to ensure the product aligns with mission needs.
  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all modern design and user experience standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in Information Systems Security or Digital Design.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern design standards, user experience (UX) principles, and graphic arts.
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and professional wire diagramming tools.
  • Proven ability to translate complex user requirements into technical guidelines and structured documentation.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating technical documentation, particularly regarding user interface architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP certification).
  • Experience with the Sponsor’s primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.

Physical Requirements:

  • You must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • You will need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
  • This role requires you to frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers.
  • You must be able to exchange accurate information in all professional situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $150,900.00-$268,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
