Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.
Where and how you can work
Our flagship Sydney campus is uniquely Canva - an extension of our Surry Hills neighbourhood. It’s a thoughtfully designed space with plenty of room to collaborate, focus, and connect.
This role is based in Sydney, and we’re looking for someone who calls it home. Our hybrid way of working gives you the flexibility to work remotely, and to come together on campus for meaningful in-person collaboration and connection when it matters most. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.
About the role
The People Experience (PX) Insights Partner sits within the People Experience Insights team, a small team dedicated to listening deeply and continuously to the experience of Canvanauts globally. This role sits at the intersection of data, insight, and enablement — playing a key role in analysing the team’s feedback, uncovering what matters most, and shaping it into clear actions that improve the people experience. Where needed, the role also partners with teams to help bring those actions to life.
The PX Insights Partner leads listening rhythms end-to-end, from survey design, launch, comms, analysis, reporting, and tracking actions. We triangulate people sentiment with business metrics and observed patterns to build a global view of the Canvanaut experience. This role partners with other teams across People to drive meaningful changes to our culture.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with high autonomy, and requires the judgement to prioritise what matters most from a large and constantly evolving stream of feedback.
What you'll do
Listening & Survey Delivery
- Support the delivery of Canva's key Canvanaut surveys, including People Pulse — contributing to design, launch, analysis, and reporting.
- May own specific surveys or insights processes end-to-end, particularly as we transition into our new listening platform;
- Help prioritise and track the actions arising from listening, ensuring the most important issues are addressed.
Insight Generation & Storytelling
- Analyse feedback data to uncover the insights that matter most, triangulating sentiment with business metrics and observed patterns;
- Collate and craft insights into clear, credible narratives for key stakeholders, both within People and across Canva.
Partnering on Action
- Partner with teams across Canva to help translate insights into meaningful action that improves culture and the people experience.
- Support teams in bringing agreed actions to life, providing insight, framing, and follow-through where needed.
Technology, Tooling & Innovation
- Work closely with People Technology to leverage our new tool to scale listening, actively participating in the ongoing design of our new listening platform and approach.
- Leverage AI to improve how we analyse, synthesise, and act on feedback, increasing speed and depth of insight.
- Identify and implement improvements that optimise listening over time.
You're probably a match if you have
- Listening & insights expertise — experience in employee listening, people experience insights, or a related field, with a grasp of how to turn feedback into credible, actionable insight.
- Analytical rigour — comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data, skilled in triangulating sentiment to find what matters most.
- Listening technology — skilled in using and adapting listening platforms, with the ability to actively contribute to the redesign and setup of new tooling and approaches.
- AI fluency — curious and capable in applying AI to improve the speed, depth, and quality of analysis and insight generation.
- Storytelling & communication — able to craft clear, compelling narratives from complex data, tailored to a range of stakeholders.
- Stakeholder relationships — a genuine people person, able to build trusted, engaging relationships with stakeholders globally.
- Organisational psychology grounding — background or keen interest in organisational psychology and/or development, underpinning a strategic understanding of people experience.
- Strategic and operational thinking — able to move between big-picture framing and the technical detail needed to execute to a high standard.
- Adaptability — able to adapt best practice to a fast-paced, scaling business with a unique culture.
- Prioritisation and judgement — able to sift signal from noise and focus on what will have the most relevant impact for our business.
