The Strategic Sourcing Manager – Semiconductor & Electronics shapes the company’s global supply base through strategic sourcing, supplier leadership, and cost management. This role develops category strategies, secures contracts, and unlocks supplier-enabled innovation to deliver measurable savings and mitigate risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain global commodity strategies and sourcing roadmaps.
- Lead supplier selection, RFI/RFP/RFQ, and negotiations for LTAs.
- Drive supplier segmentation, QBRs, and corrective action plans.
- Deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and productivity targets.
- Identify and mitigate risks across capacity, supply continuity, and compliance.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Ops, and R&D for innovation and design-to-cost.
Skills & Competencies
- Strategic sourcing and category management.
- Advanced negotiation and contracting skills.
- Market intelligence, cost modeling, analytics.
- Supplier relationship management at executive level.
- Cross-functional leadership and influence.
- Strong financial acumen.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management.
- Experience with supplier negotiations and global strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree.
- CPSM/CIPS or equivalent certification.
- Global, multi-site procurement experience.
