- Project Management
- Lead and steer the assigned project team
- Main technical customer contact and consultant for OEMs and Tiers ("One face to the Customer")
- Review/tracking of project team members work packages and deliverables within the project
- Create, define and maintain project timing, deliverables and budget checks
- Initiate and track project trials and customer processing investigations/trials
- Determine project planning and review execution in accordance with BA SSL's product development process including project reporting
- Tracking the developing progress with project team regularly
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Monitoring open issues to make sure they could be solved within the timing, cost, and quality. Escalate in time when necessary
- Project Status Reporting
- Provide project status updates to Manager/Supervisor, Regional Head of Project Engineering/Teamlead and Operations
- Perform analysis on project deliverables with respect to agreed timing and budget
- Team leading and organizational responsibilities
- Create and promote a motivating & rewarding project team environment
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships cross dept.
- Safeguards agreed standards and quality guidelines (internal & external)
4. Customer Relation Management
- Responsible for reaching the specific technical requirements of the respective OEM
- Ensures quality awareness, achievement of customer quality targets and customer service commitments
- Obtain required approvals from customers (Tier-1, OEM)
- Bachelor's degree or above, Preferably in a major related to Chemical, Polymer Materials Science & Engineering, Chemistry and / or commensurate specific relevant combination of education and experience
2. At least 3 years of professional experience in the foil production or plastics industry, ideally in a technical position, Application-oriented experience in the development of automotive interior trim products, ideally PVC, PUR and TPO based
- At least 3 years experience with Project Management tasks, preferably lead of several projects with different complexity, Ability to lead project teams in a matrix organsation, Profound knowledge of automotive project management requirements and product related manufacturing and development processes
4. Leadership skills required, but no leadership experience expected, Autonomous and self-driven work-style required, High level of interpersonal skills (communication, integrity etc.) and resiliance
5. Good at English reading & writing, fluent in oral English is preferred.
