Test Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring that software products meet quality and functional requirements before release.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and technical requirements to understand testing needs.
Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
Perform retesting and regression testing after defect fixes.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
Maintain test documentation and testing reports.
Support release validation and ensure product quality across different environments.
Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and automation.
Required Skills
Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies.
Experience with test case creation and defect management.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar bug-tracking tools.
Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing is preferred.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience in software testing or quality assurance is preferred.
Preferred
Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
