CAD Designer

· Nos of positions = 1

· QUALIFICATION – ITI (Draughtsman) or Diploma (Mechanical)

· SOFTWARE CERTIFICATIONS –

1. Autocad

2. Solidworks

· EXPERIENCE – Minimum 1-2 years in above softwares in Engineering design (Fabrication background is preferable)

General competences of the candidate

1. Good knowledge and Hand on experience in AutoCAD and Solidworks (3D Modelling) softwares, Development of Engineering drawings

2. Able to adapt dimensions from a physical part and develop it’s drawing

3. Basic Knowledge of Computer & MS Office

4. Basic knowledge of Fabrication process is preferable

5. Basic knowledge of tool & Die design

Responsibilities of the position

1. Laser cutting machine purpose :

a. Modify DXF files (Layered drawings) to improve laser cutting

b. Develop new drawings based on inquiry for any job work

c. Do nesting of similar parts to optimize cutting

d. Do nesting of different parts to utilize scrap SS sheets if any

e. Keep the record of latest revisions of each drawing and update the same to the operator

2. Industrial/Methodes purpose :

a. Develop drawings of various new machine tools, dies, fixtures and templates

b. Develop new drawings for existing tools which don’t have drawings

c. Develop new drawings for Projects or inquiry for any job work for inhouse fabrication

3. R&D purpose :

a. Design of new components for development

b. Making Line diagram of piping for site purpose

c. Updation in exixting drawings if required
