  • Eligible Location: United States

  • Compensation: Up to $100 per hour

  • Working Language: English (C1 or higher)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced finance and accounting professionals to develop realistic professional tasks, evaluate AI-generated financial work, and design detailed rubrics that define high-quality financial analysis and accounting outputs.

You will create challenging assignments across areas such as financial analysis, accounting, corporate finance, investment analysis, valuation, financial modeling, reporting, audit, and risk management. You will assess the accuracy of AI-generated work, including its assumptions, methodologies, calculations, supporting reasoning, and professional judgment.

A key focus is translating finance and accounting expertise into structured evaluation criteria that measure accuracy, completeness, materiality, analytical rigor, and professional presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop challenging finance and accounting tasks involving financial analysis, valuation, investment, audit, reporting, and related disciplines.

  • Design detailed scoring rubrics covering calculations, assumptions, methodology, completeness, materiality, and reasoning quality.

  • Evaluate AI-generated financial outputs for numerical accuracy, analytical logic, and methodological soundness.

  • Assess whether assumptions and conclusions are reasonable, relevant, and adequately supported.

  • Identify material errors in calculations, accounting treatment, valuation methodologies, financial interpretation, and risk analysis.

  • Review and improve rubrics developed by other finance and accounting experts.

  • Identify ambiguous, redundant, incomplete, overly subjective, or technically incorrect evaluation criteria.

  • Develop reference solutions, financial analyses, critiques, and detailed explanations.

  • Produce tasks, rubrics, evaluations, preference data, and reference-answer pairs for AI training workflows.

  • Ensure outputs reflect appropriate professional finance and accounting conventions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, investment analysis, corporate finance, financial reporting, audit, consulting, risk, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of the professional methodologies, calculations, assumptions, and analytical standards relevant to your specialty.

  • Ability to develop realistic financial tasks requiring professional judgment rather than simple factual recall.

  • Strong rubric-writing skills, including the ability to define accuracy, methodology, assumptions, completeness, and reasoning requirements.

  • Ability to distinguish calculation errors, methodological errors, unsupported assumptions, and reasonable differences in professional judgment.

  • Excellent attention to detail when reviewing numerical accuracy, financial logic, reconciliations, terminology, assumptions, and conclusions.

  • English proficiency at C1 level or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, ACCA, ACA, CMA, FRM, or equivalent, where applicable.

  • Experience with training, examination writing, audit review, investment committee review, financial quality assurance, research review, or professional assessment.

  • Previous experience in AI evaluation, model benchmarking, data annotation, reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), or rubric-based scoring.

Areas of Expertise

Relevant specializations include:

  • Financial analysis and financial modeling

  • Accounting and financial reporting

  • Corporate finance

  • Investment analysis and valuation

  • Audit and assurance

  • Financial risk management

  • Financial consulting and research

Candidates should demonstrate professional expertise in at least one relevant area.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly rate: Up to $100, depending on applicable project terms.

  • Payment frequency: Weekly, once work is approved.

  • Flexible schedule: Manage your working hours remotely.

  • Additional rewards: Referral bonuses may be available.

Interview and Work Arrangement

The selection process includes an interview. Successful candidates will work remotely on finance and accounting task development, rubric design, financial output evaluation, and AI training projects.
