Role Overview
Contract Type: Contractor
Location: Fully Remote, Global
Compensation: Up to $90 per hour equivalent
Estimated Workload: Approximately 10 hours per task
Language Requirement: English B2 minimum; C1 preferred
About the Role
We are seeking experienced HR and People Operations professionals to design realistic, multi-step tasks that evaluate how effectively AI systems handle practical HR workflows.
You will translate your hands-on experience into structured assessment tasks with realistic reference materials, clear instructions, and objective grading criteria. The work focuses on applying HR policies, interpreting workforce and payroll information, and making sound decisions in complex or ambiguous employee scenarios.
Prior experience in AI evaluation is beneficial but not required. Practical HR expertise and the ability to assess work consistently are the primary requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design multi-step assessment tasks based on real HR workflows, including payroll operations, workforce planning, policy application, and employee lifecycle management.
Develop realistic scenarios that require professional judgment, careful interpretation of source materials, and application of HR standards rather than simple information retrieval.
Create or source supporting documentation, such as HR policies, payroll reports, headcount data, employment agreements, and process guidelines.
Establish objective grading rubrics with clear criteria so that qualified reviewers can independently reach consistent conclusions.
Evaluate whether tasks accurately reflect real-world HR responsibilities and whether the expected outputs can be assessed reliably.
Identify and resolve ambiguity, missing information, conflicting instructions, or grading inconsistencies before task submission.
Deliver high-quality, approved tasks within agreed timelines.
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in payroll, workforce planning, HR policy, employee lifecycle operations, or a related People Operations function.
Direct responsibility for executing or owning HR processes, rather than exclusively supervisory experience or indirect exposure.
Experience creating or applying structured HR standards, such as policies, payroll checklists, process documentation, compliance frameworks, or employee assessment tools.
Ability to interpret and work across multiple document types, including spreadsheets, reports, policies, and employment records.
Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex HR workflows into clearly defined, assessable tasks.
Strong written and spoken English, with proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
HR certification such as SHRM, CIPD, PHR, or an equivalent credential.
Experience developing HR process standards, operational assessments, or structured evaluation frameworks.
Familiarity with AI evaluation, large language model (LLM) testing, or benchmark task design.
Compensation and Work Arrangement
This is a fully remote contract opportunity with no geographic restrictions. Compensation is up to $90 per hour equivalent, with tasks estimated to require approximately 10 hours each. Actual task duration may vary depending on complexity and requirements.
Selection Process
Submit an application and complete the screening questions.
Complete the role-specific AI interview to demonstrate your HR and People Operations expertise.
Undergo profile review.
Complete onboarding before beginning assigned work.
