Critically assess financial analyses and presentations to identify numerical errors, strategic weaknesses, and unclear reasoning.
Explain accounting treatments, valuation adjustments, deal sensitivities, and the impact of key modeling assumptions.
Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate transaction outcomes under different assumptions.
Provide precise written and verbal explanations of complex financial concepts and actionable recommendations.
Required Qualifications

Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and transaction analysis.
Advanced Excel skills, including model construction, troubleshooting, scenario analysis, and output interpretation.
Experience conducting company and industry research, buyer or target screening, and comparable company analysis.
Experience preparing and reviewing pitchbooks and other transaction-related presentation materials.
Ability to identify quantitative inaccuracies, assess strategic rationale, and explain analytical weaknesses clearly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a former Senior Associate, preferably at the third-year level, or Vice President within an M&A or industry-coverage team.
Background at a leading investment bank, established M&A boutique, or sector-focused advisory firm.
Direct exposure to live acquisition or sale processes.
Demonstrated ability to produce and review financial analyses and client deliverables to senior banker or client standards.
Strong judgment in assessing valuation assumptions, transaction structures, financial sensitivities, and strategic considerations.
