IT Business Analyst (US)

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of experience, strong skills in SQL, Jira, Agile methodologies, and requirements analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and technical requirements.

• Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, project managers, and product teams using Jira.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Perform data analysis and validation using SQL and support UAT.

• Communicate project requirements, priorities, and status to both technical and business stakeholders.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

• 1–5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role.

• Proficiency with SQL for data analysis and validation.

• Experience using Jira and working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Confluence or other documentation tools.

• Agile/Scrum certification such as CSM, PSM, or PMI‑ACP.

• Familiarity with process modeling, workflow tools, and system integrations.

• Background in financial services, healthcare, retail, or technology industries.
