Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices deployed on AWS.

  • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with relational databases using SQL.

  • Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes.

  • Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand‑ups to align with Agile processes.

  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and apply fixes promptly.

  • Document technical decisions, APIs, and deployment procedures for team knowledge sharing.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • 1 year or less of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.

Nice to have

  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
