Contract Type: Contractor
Location: Remote

About the Role
We are seeking experienced legal professionals to develop realistic legal tasks, evaluate legal work products, and assess how effectively AI systems handle practical legal workflows.
This opportunity is suitable for attorneys, paralegals, in-house and outside counsel, compliance professionals, and other legal practitioners. You will create multi-step scenarios based on real legal work, review AI-generated legal content, and assess the accuracy of legal reasoning, issue identification, and recommendations.
You will also use Microsoft 365 tools, including Copilot, to prepare legal deliverables and supporting documentation. Prior AI training experience is beneficial, but practical legal expertise and sound analytical judgment are central to the role.
Key Responsibilities
Design realistic, multi-step legal tasks covering contract review and drafting, legal research, case analysis, discovery support, regulatory compliance, and client advisory memoranda.
Write, review, and refine legal content for AI training and evaluation, ensuring accuracy, sound legal reasoning, and professional standards.
Develop and assess legal evaluations that test AI systems' ability to interpret statutes, case law, contracts, and fact patterns.
Evaluate whether legal analyses identify relevant issues, assess risks appropriately, and reach well-supported conclusions.
Use Microsoft 365 applications, including Copilot, to prepare legal memoranda, briefs, contract redlines, summaries, trackers, and other legal deliverables.
Analyze legal source materials and AI-generated outputs, identifying errors, omissions, inconsistencies, and weaknesses in reasoning.
Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve legal work product quality and AI performance.
Required Qualifications
Professional experience in a legal role, such as attorney, paralegal, legal counsel, contracts manager, compliance specialist, or legal operations professional.
Knowledge of one or more legal practice areas, such as corporate law, litigation, intellectual property, employment, regulatory compliance, or real estate.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Ability to use Microsoft Word features such as Track Changes and document comparison tools for legal drafting and review.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts to both legal and non-legal audiences.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical rigor, and the ability to provide clear, consistent, evidence-based feedback.
Ability to analyze complex legal materials and assess the quality and reliability of AI-generated legal work.
Preferred Qualifications
Active bar admission, paralegal certification, or equivalent legal credentials, depending on the role.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot and other AI-assisted Microsoft 365 workflows.
Experience with AI training, data annotation, or evaluating AI-generated content.
Experience developing legal assessments, structured review criteria, or professional legal documentation.
Work Arrangement
This is a remote contract opportunity focused on legal task development, work product evaluation, and AI training. You will apply your legal expertise and Microsoft 365 skills to assess complex legal scenarios and help improve the accuracy, consistency, and quality of AI-generated legal outputs.
