Mendix Developer

We are seeking a skilled Mendix Developer to join our team. The role involves translating user stories into robust low-code applications, integrating systems, and ensuring secure and accessible solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Translate user stories and business requirements into Mendix applications, including domain models, microflows, pages, and security roles.

• Build integrations with internal and external systems using APIs, database connectors, and implement single sign‑on (SAML/OIDC).

• Develop reusable modules, widgets, and components following GSC standards and contribute to a shared component library.

• Apply secure‑by‑design practices, role‑based access control, and data protection requirements.

• Design accessible interfaces that meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

• Write unit and automated tests, participate in code reviews, and use Mendix Quality Add‑ons to manage technical debt.

• Support deployment, release management, and third‑level maintenance of applications in production.

• Produce and maintain technical documentation.

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IT development experience, with at least 3 years hands‑on Mendix development.

• Mendix Advanced Developer certification (minimum).

• Delivered at least two Mendix applications to production, including enterprise system integrations.

• Experience with Mendix 10 or later, on‑premises or private‑cloud deployment.

• Working knowledge of Java and JavaScript for custom actions and widgets.

• Experience working in Scrum or similar agile frameworks.

Nice to have

• Mendix Expert certification.

• Familiarity with Mendix AI capabilities such as GenAI connectors or Maia.
