Performance and Playwright Test Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on building robust UI automation frameworks with Playwright and conducting performance testing across applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright.

• Create and execute smoke, regression, sanity, and functional automation tests.

• Design and run performance, load, stress, and endurance tests.

• Develop performance scripts with JMeter or similar tools and analyze results.

• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams.

• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices.

• Maintain reusable and scalable automation scripts.

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software testing/automation.

• Strong hands‑on expertise with Playwright.

• Extensive experience in performance testing using JMeter or equivalent.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python and API testing.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Selenium and Page Object Model design.

• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.

• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
