QA Automation

About the role – As a QA Automation Engineer you will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites to ensure the quality of web applications. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with modern testing tools in a collaborative, on‑site environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.

• Implement test frameworks with TestNG for functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

• Validate RESTful APIs by creating and running API test suites.

• Maintain test code in Git, ensuring proper version control and code reviews.

• Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and reproduce defects.

• Document test results, defects, and test coverage metrics for stakeholder reporting.

Required qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and Java programming.

• Experience writing automated tests with TestNG.

• Understanding of REST API concepts and ability to test endpoints.

• Basic proficiency with Git for source control.

• Familiarity with Jenkins or similar CI tools.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Python for scripting or test data generation.

• Experience with additional testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and its impact on testing environments.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
