  • Apply relevant marine measurement practices, survey procedures, and industry standards when evaluating cargo quantity and condition.

  • Reference applicable guidelines from recognized professional organizations, including NAMS, SAMS, and IIMS, where relevant.

  • Provide expert analysis of maritime evidence, identify discrepancies, and assess the reliability of survey findings.

  • Ability to interpret vessel draft marks, tank gauge readings, digital imagery, and survey documentation.

  • Knowledge of applicable marine survey standards and reporting practices.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when reviewing technical evidence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification from a recognized maritime academy or a valid Certificate of Competency (CoC).

  • Professional membership or accreditation with the National Association of Marine Surveyors (NAMS), the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS), or the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS).

Working Arrangement

  • Fully remote engagement open to qualified professionals globally.

  • Approximately 10 hours of work per week.

  • Flexible working hours and days, including weekends if preferred.

  • Contractor engagement focused on applying existing maritime expertise to AI training and evaluation tasks.

  • No prior experience in artificial intelligence or AI training is required.
