Social Media Executive

We are seeking a Social Media Executive to join our team. You will shape and grow Drishti IAS's social media presence across multiple platforms, driving brand growth and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the digital presence of all offline centres on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, WhatsApp and other platforms.

• Plan and execute centre‑wise content calendars aligned with UPSC and State PCS exam cycles.

• Create engaging Hindi and English reels, stories, carousels and short videos showcasing sessions, faculty, tips and aspirant testimonials.

• Coordinate with centre heads and local teams to collect content, plan shoots and promote events.

• Plan, run and optimise city‑wise geo‑targeted paid campaigns on Meta Ads and Google Ads to generate quality leads.

• Own Google Business Profiles, manage online reputation and respond to reviews, comments and enquiries.

• Track, report and analyse metrics such as follower growth, reach, leads and enrolments, providing insights and recommendations.

Required qualifications

• Graduate in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism or a related field.

• 1–3 years of hands‑on social media and digital marketing experience.

• Proficiency in mobile video editing (CapCut, InShot, VN) and design tools (Canva, Photoshop).

• Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and managing Google Business Profiles.

• Excellent written and spoken Hindi and English with strong coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Experience promoting UPSC, State PCS or other competitive exams.

• Basic knowledge of local SEO and familiarity with WhatsApp Business and CRM tools.

• Network with education influencers or student creators across regions.
