Subject Matter Expert - English

We are seeking a Subject Editor (Class 9-12) for English, Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer to join our team at EduCart. In this role you will ensure accuracy and excellence in our academic publications for CBSE, ICSE, CUET, and NEET curriculum. You will work closely with authors and the production team to deliver high‑quality content.

Key responsibilities

• Manuscript editing & review for technical accuracy and syllabus alignment.

• Content quality assurance to meet board exam standards.

• Stay updated with syllabus & exam pattern changes and incorporate them.

• Develop new questions, create blueprints, and refine existing material.

• Collaborate with authors, SMEs, project managers, and DTP teams.

• Oversee final manuscript preparation ensuring error‑free content.

• Contribute to digital content ideation and e‑learning material review.

• Utilize MS Office, Google Suite, and content authoring tools efficiently.

Required qualifications

• Master’s degree in the respective subject (English, Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry).

• 0‑1 year of experience editing Board Exam books.

• Strong command over NCERT textbooks (Class 9‑12) and board syllabus structures.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Attention to detail and a keen eye for content precision.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with digital publishing platforms.

• Project management experience.
