Job Summary:
The Testing & Commissioning Engineer is responsible for testing, inspecting, and commissioning elevator systems to ensure safe, smooth, and compliant operation before handover to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct testing and commissioning of elevators (passenger, home lifts, goods lifts, etc.)
Ensure proper installation and alignment as per technical drawings and standards
Perform safety checks, load tests, and operational trials
Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
Coordinate with installation team for rectification of defects
Ensure compliance with safety norms and statutory regulations
Prepare commissioning reports and documentation
Attend site inspections with clients/consultants
Support handover process and client demonstrations
Provide basic training to clients/end-users after commissioning
