Job description

About the Role

We are looking for a Sr. Testing / QA Lead to own quality engineering for a high‑scale, low‑latency streaming Customer Data Platform (CDP) running on on‑premise Kubernetes infrastructure. This is a highly technical QA automation role focused on automation, streaming/data validation, performance engineering, resilience, security, governance and auditable test evidence.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

Build and own test automation frameworks
Strong Python, Java, TypeScript coding skills
API automation – REST Assured, Karate, pytest, Postman/Newman or Playwright API
UI automation – Playwright, Cypress or Selenium
Framework architecture, Page Object Model & parallel execution
Flaky‑test diagnosis and test isolation
Performance & load testing – JMeter, k6, Locust or Gatling
Strong SQL for large‑scale data validation and reconciliation
ETL, data pipeline & streaming testing
Kafka / event‑driven system testing
Apache Flink / stateful stream‑processing validation
Latency testing with p95/p99 SLO validation
CI/CD integration and automated quality gates
Test data management and synthetic/masked datasets
Data governance, consent, privacy and tokenization testing
Identity resolution / entity matching validation
Multi‑tenant isolation and RBAC testing
Replay, backfill and reconciliation testing
Apache Paimon / Iceberg / Delta Lake with Trino/Spark
Kubernetes, Docker & Helm testing
Grafana, Prometheus, OpenSearch & observability
Failure‑injection / resilience / chaos testing
Defect triage and auditable regression evidence
AI/ML/LLM testing experience is an advantage

Ideal Candidate

You should have 6+ years in software quality engineering, with the majority of your experience in test automation, and demonstrated ownership of automation frameworks—not simply writing tests within an existing framework. Experience in CDP, Customer 360, Telecom, high‑volume transactional systems, real‑time platforms, AdTech/MarTech or data analytics is highly desirable.
