What You Will Be Responsible For
Platform Engineering & Cloud Enablement
- Lead and enable application onboarding to AWS, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation and Terraform), security controls, and operational best practices.
- Partner with application teams to design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions.
- Drive adoption of platform engineering capabilities that simplify cloud onboarding, improve developer experience, and accelerate software delivery.
- Support modernization initiatives by migrating on-premises applications to AWS and integrating vendor-hosted applications and services with enterprise cloud platforms.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AWS platform engineering, providing guidance on cloud-native architectures, deployment strategies, automation, networking, security, and operational excellence.
CI/CD & Automation
- Provide operational support for enterprise CI/CD platforms, ensuring high availability, stability, and reliability of deployment pipelines and automation services.
- Manage and maintain CI/CD platforms, including pipeline configurations, build agents/runners, artifact repositories, deployment frameworks, and release automation services.
- Troubleshoot complex build, deployment, and integration issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures that improve platform resilience and reliability.
- Continuously optimize software delivery processes through automation, self-service capabilities, and reusable platform components.
Observability & Operational Excellence
- Monitor application health, platform performance, and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact application teams.
- Establish and promote SRE-inspired operational practices including reliability metrics, service health monitoring, incident management, and post-incident reviews.
AI & Innovation
- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI-assisted engineering capabilities to improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.
- Drive the adoption of Agentic AI solutions for platform operations, application onboarding, troubleshooting, documentation generation, and workflow automation.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI-driven observability, incident analysis, and operational automation across the software development lifecycle.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers while fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
- Lead small project teams and coordinate the delivery of platform initiatives across globally distributed engineering organizations.
- Collaborate closely with application, DevOps, security, networking, cloud, and platform engineering teams to streamline software delivery and improve operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, architecture patterns, and training materials while conducting knowledge-sharing sessions to improve engineering effectiveness and platform adoption.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in AWS, cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering within enterprise environments.
- Experience leading small engineering teams, technical initiatives, or cross-functional projects.
Work Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM IST
Strong expertise in:
- AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, etc.)
- CI/CD platforms and tools (Jenkins, Harness, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Ansible, or similar technologies)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and CloudFormation)
- Application architecture and cloud-native design patterns
- Observability platforms including monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, and operational analytics (Grafana, Opensearch)
- AWS networking fundamentals including VPC design, routing, DNS, connectivity, load balancing, hybrid cloud integration, and network troubleshooting
Preferred Experience
- Experience onboarding and supporting large-scale enterprise applications on AWS.
- Experience migrating on-premises applications to public cloud platforms.
- Experience integrating third-party vendor applications and SaaS solutions into enterprise cloud environments.
- Experience implementing platform engineering, developer self-service, and internal developer platform practices.
- AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, or Advanced Networking Specialty.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools, Agentic AI capabilities, and automation frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
