About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and result-driven Manager – Operations to lead end-to-end operational workflows across order fulfillment, logistics, installation and service delivery across India. In this role, you will bridge strategic planning with ground-level execution—ensuring smooth order management cycles, scaling site installation operations for our interactive flat panels, managing Authorized Service Partners (ASPs), and continually optimizing operational processes to deliver exceptional Customer Satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Improvement & Operational Governance
- Workflow Redesign & Speed Optimization: Conduct end-to-end audits of hardware supply chains, and installation cycle to identify bottlenecks, eliminate non-value-added steps, and drastically reduce overall turn-around time (TAT).
- Cost Reduction & Efficiency Engineering: Analyze cost drivers across warehousing, logistics, technician routing, and vendor billing to negotiate better structures, eliminate waste, and lower unit operational costs without sacrificing quality.
- Customer Experience (CX) & CSAT Elevation: Map the post-sale customer journey to build high-touch, error-free fulfillment experiences. Turn operational service delivery into a competitive advantage that drives customer retention and high Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
- Automation & Technology Integration: Partner with Internal Tech, Product, and ERP teams to automate manual operational tasks, introduce smart workflows, build real-time SLA tracking, and eliminate human-error failure points.
- Governance, SOPs & Quality Assurance: Design, mandate, and continuously update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all zones. Establish audit frameworks to measure internal team and vendor compliance against set benchmarks.
- Data & Capacity Modeling: Build predictive operational models for inventory management, performance dashboards, and executive reporting frameworks to guide business decisions, resource allocation, and quarterly capacity planning.
2. Order Management, Supply Chain Execution, Field Operations & Hardware Deployment
- Understand the end-to-end order lifecycle—from order receipt, verification, partner documentation validation, invoicing to final installation.
- Serve as the critical backup and escalation point during peak business periods to clear order fulfillment bottlenecks and resolve complex inventory/dispatch edge cases.
3. Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Management
- Partner with Zonal Business Heads to evaluate demand forecasts, site readiness, and local manpower availability.
- Drive operational alignment and coordination efficiency across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Support functions
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline from Tier 1 Institute . (An MBA / Post Graduate Degree in Operations or Supply Chain is preferred).
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Operations, Order Management, Supply Chain Operations, or Field Operations Delivery.
- Industry Background: Experience in EdTech, Consumer Durables, IT Hardware Distribution, or Tech-enabled Logistics is highly desirable.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Analytical & Data-Driven: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, data modeling, reporting) with the ability to draw insights from complex operational datasets.
- Systems Familiarity: Working knowledge of ERPs, Order Management Systems (OMS), or CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Zoho).
- Vendor & Partner Management: Proven ability to onboard, negotiate, and enforce SLAs with external logistics and service partners.
- Execution & Ownership: High attention to detail with a track record of driving cross-functional projects under strict timelines.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and regional languages to interact effectively with internal leadership and external clients/vendors.
